  Mindstorm Packs at Target

Just at Target at North 183 (Lakeline Area). They have a big endcap display of the Mindstorm line, including the Starter Pack (199.990, a Monster/Creature Pack, and a Sports Pack. That is, if anyone is interested... CMB (28 years ago, 29-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)

  Re: RTLers Big Names

Did my usual rounds (Target, KMart, TRU) in my end of town(North Austin) and nothing new yet. Target was boasting a few markdowns and KMart was having a 20% off their usual selection of opened/maimed/crushed Lego product. Oh well... All it means is (...)   Re: RTLers Big Names

(...) There are at least two other Austin-based rtl'ers I haven't seen here yet: Ben Kimball and Steve Jackson. Makes you think an Austin LegoFest would stand a good chance of working... -Tim (28 years ago, 24-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)

(...) Anyone else planning on visiting Targets the day of and after Halloween to buy discounted orange bricks? :-) (28 years ago, 23-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)

  RTLers Big Names

Never knew that Austin was some sort of RTLer Meccha. And your right, it is no wonder why good sets are hard to come by in this town. We're all in competition. However, I suggest working together, esp. during this upcoming "Lego" season (God Bless (...) (28 years ago, 23-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)

Finally decided to de-lurk and post something. Glad to see other RTLers in the Austin area. Thought I was the only over-grown child in the new TRU Lego isle out by Lakeline Mall. ======== Posted via the LUGNET discussion group web interface ======== (...) (...) Target, (...) I came across a few Exploriens Starships for $50 at the Kay-Bee outlet shop in San Marcos over the weekend. Not too broad selection otherwise, but quite good deals. I picked up some cheap duplo for my niece for Christmas. -Tim (28 years ago, 14-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)

Re: Lego shopping (was Re: Hello from Austin!)

(...) I've found some good deals on discontinued sets at the KMart at Parmer and Mopac, and the KMart on 183 up near 620. Normally I buy from Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, and Shop @ Home (TRU trips are usually look and not buy). (28 years ago, 13-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)

Lego shopping (was Re: Hello from Austin!)

Hey, Jason, (...) I'm in the west/southwest area, between Oak Hill and Barton Creek, off of Southwest Parkway. Nice pages, BTW. Mine are at (URL) any decent places for Lego shopping around here? The local TRU (off of 360) isn't too great. I'll (...) (28 years ago, 10-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.tx.aus)
