Alright, we're 1.5 weeks away from the next event, and it's time for a status
update. Everyone who is going to want to go to the combined BrikWars/BLOC
event at my house on May 28th, please email me within the next couple of days
so I can send you directions to my house. I'm thinking that 11:00am is as
good a time as any to start the fun. Later if people have church or whatever
that morning (this is Sunday, after all) Everyone's invited for a
meet'n'greet, even if you're not interested in playing BrikWars.
For a city I've built 3 buildings, a coffee shop, a TGI Friday's type
restaurant (well, the wife built that) and a small office building. Each is
built on a 16x32 baseplate. What else are people bringing for our little
city? I'd like to be a little more organized this time than the last event at
the Hilliard Library.
The downside is I don't have as much table space as we did at the library.
The table I have is maybe 3' by 5', with an extra 3'x3' card table. Will that
be enough, or should I invest in some plywood? I'd rather not run the event
on the floor, as that would be kind of uncomfortable.
