Ah .... HAHAHAH!!! LOL!!!

No, it would not. Do you know how many fire rolls you would do EACH
attack?
I once played a character in GURPS that could do something like 40d6
damage in a single attack, if he spent enough time inhaling.  It
wouldn't do good to interpret all of that heavy breathing as a calming
exercise.  Another player-character got a rude introduction to the
campaign when he was blown through the oak doors of the building,
across the street, and _through_ the McDonald's.  Landed something like
150' away.  All within his first 10 turns of being in the campaign.
Incidentaly, my character was the first to catch up to the injured guy
and proceeded to save his life.  I always liked playing characters who
had, truly, uncontrollable tempers.  My paladins would always end up
fighting someone in the party.

The helicoptors would then pull out, radio for "fast movers" to
"nape" the area, and *create* a clearing for them to land in.
Sounds like at least 1000-1500CP of TL4 equipment.  That would give
the natives 4000-6000CP of TL2 with the rules we proposed at the
beginning of one of these threads.  That's a lot of troopers.

Not really. Two flyers involved, one bomb. (The Napalm on the F-4.) That isn't
1000 CP.

I think the points we are all trying to make are:  Sufficiently large
low-tech forces can hold there own against smaller high-tech forces.
Individual units are better in certain terrains.  Cross-TL battles are
generally going to have to have pretty small numbers of high-TL units
to be manageable.

Actually, The Viet Namese were TL4 (under Brik War rules) too. They had
machine guns, automatic rifles, and other stuff like that. They knew how to
use grenades, tanks, and jeeps, although they didn't have any.

Its not like the Viet namese were using bows and swords...
