  Re: Updated my site, again

(...) contrast with the red "window" at the front is good. I also like the use of the Imperial tile as the Photorp port. Now all you need to do is make one twice that size with minifig crew! :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man, lugnet.space)

  Updated my site, again

Howdy fellow LUGNETers! More updates on my pathetic little website, including two new Klingon Bird-of-Preys and more links to my new stuff on Brickshelf. (URL) you get to my page, please click on "Newest Stuff" link to get to... well, the newest (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man, lugnet.space)

Re: Gouging in Manhattan--Why Do They Cost So Much?

(...) I think it's a combination of the two. I could have acquired Cabana Beach at the Menlo Park FAO for a mere $34.99! The Fifth Avenue store, however, didn't have anything *too* ancient (save a few very late model Pirates sets). I did find some (...) (25 years ago, 22-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man)

Re: Gouging in Manhattan--Why Do They Cost So Much?

(...) It's not NYC -- it's FAO. Their prices are always too high. Apparently, some people don't shop around for their toys. The nice thing is, you are more likely to find older sets at FAO than other places. Steve (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man)

  Re: More in NYC?

(...) You're telling me. Fortunately, now I go into Manhattan often for toys and to visit a woman--not necessarily in that order. Lindsay, also from Michigan (but now in NJ) (25 years ago, 21-May-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man)

  Re: More in NYC?

(...) Seems like there'd be more excitement in the NYC group(s), eh? Steve from Michigan (25 years ago, 25-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man)

  More in NYC?

  Re: Dang!

> Dang! The first post in this group should have asked > "Why do Legos in Manhattan cost so much!?!?" ...cuz the cost of a Lego set in *New Jersey* + the price to get to Jersey is from Manhattan is equal to the cost of a Lego set in Manhattan! :) (26 years ago, 13-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man)

  Dang!

Dang! The first post in this group should have asked "Why do Legos in Manhattan cost so much!?!?" (26 years ago, 28-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man)

  First Post

Am I the first Manhattanite to post here or what? I think the geographic heirarchy might be a little too complex (perhaps), but I am looking forward to seeing no more posts about sales in Canada, taxes in Australia, where to shop in London, etc.!
