This is a copy of the email I sent out to 147 people in Ken's address book
this morning.

Dear Friends,

Sometime last night after having so many days of good health and
vitality in the hospital, Ken's heart stopped. He was flat-lined for about
three minutes. Doctor's revived him and he is now back in a deep coma in the
ICU. The doctor's couldn't explain this strange turn of events in his
health.

I don't know Ken :/ but what does this mean:
(taken from a posting of his 6 months ago)

"Ok now to the good stuff
My name is Ken (duh)
I am holding onto 29 years old as hard as I can (for 6 years)"

This sort of scares me!  Is this a problem he has that he is talking about?
And now he is where he is?  From what has been posted by his wife is
frightening... I hope he will be ok... I take it he is only 29ish?  If so,
that's far too young.  But at any age :(...

Nicole, I wish you and your family all the best and that Ken makes a quick
and fast recovery!  It really does make you think about things and
appreciate that life is so precious.

I hope any future posts from you will be positive posts!  And that those who
never got to meet Ken will still have a chance to say "hello" and share
thoughts etc.

On behalf of the Australian Lugnet I/we will be thinking and wishing you the
very best in every possible way!  Please stay strong!  Thanks and please
excuse me... it's always hard to know what to say in these situations.

Take care!  Mel

We were given the "get his affairs in order" speech by is doctor. People
in our local area receiving this, be advised that Ken's name on the
hospital's public patients listings have been suppressed due to privacy
concerns. Visitors also have been restricted to a list of eight family
members, sorry.

In Ken's living will it states that after 30 days in an incapacitated
state or where he in on life support all machinery is to be stopped, IV's
removed and a DNR (do not resuscitate)activated.

*wishing for the positive outcome*

    Thank you,

    Nicole Rienhart-Drumm

This was some sort of typo. Ken turned 40 on May 6th of this year, one day after we were married. I believe it was his "intro" post. -- Nicole Rienhart-Drumm "Melody Brown" <black666beast@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:GFIw3y.GuM@lugnet.com... (...)
