   Welcome to the group, Thomas. I was just up at Blowing Rock a couple of weekends ago, and was fantasizing about the little old toy shoppe with ancient unsold Lego in it. I stopped at the KMart on 421 and was disappointed to see no tubs, buckets or (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

   Thanks. The only "little old toy shoppe" anywhere near here is actually in Hickory, NC...it's called Clark's Toyland and is in the basement of Clark's Tire (downtown Hickory). Last year, I cleared them out of some Pirates sets, a Dark Forest (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)

   I picked up three of the 6416 "Poolside Paradise" in Smithfield, which is a bit of a drive, but doable. (After me, there we're any left.) I believe that Mike Walsh has been keeping a careful eye on the one near the RTP airport, but hasn't scored any (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nc)
