Re: Clearance find at Durham Zany Brainy

To get on their list simply ask them at the counter. They have a form you fill out.   Re: Clearance find at Durham Zany Brainy

You have to get on ZB's mailing list. They send out coupons periodically. Last weekend that same set was an additional 25% with the ZB coupon for 25% any clearance item. They had six or seven of those sets about two weeks ago, how many did they have (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral)

Clearance find at Durham Zany Brainy

In my shopping trip today, I found 6977 Arachnoid Star Base on clearance for $50. I picked up two (main reason, for the quarter saucer bottoms). I just finished making a large water tower using the 4 saucer bottoms, plus 4 plain saucer tops from my (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral)

25% off Lego sale at KB Toys outlet store

Don't know if this is national or not. The KB Toys outlet store in the outlet mall in Durham near the airport has 25% of all Lego. This is 25% off the already reduced prices! I cleaned them out of 8232 Chopper Force (reduced $17.99, sale at $13.49) (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.market.shopping)

I did not see the 4560 set in Sweden, only 4561. I'm not sure luggging a train set back would be very easy either! Those boxes are pretty large. I will take a look while I am there and let you know. I learned from my last trip, I will throw an extra (...) (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc)

Replying to my own post ... Probably the single most important decision to made is on modular tables. To do this right means making a sound decision and learning from the two active train groups (GMTLC and PNTLC). Since I there is no way I could do (...)
