  Get togethers

Well, since there seem to be very few in this area to have a get together (please let know if I am wrong!) I am interested in making the trek to Michigan for whatever is going on up there (quite a bit from what I understand). Anyone with me on (...) (27 years ago, 14-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

that big toy show at UMSL

Well, my recent departure from MO caused me to miss the big annual toy extravaganza at UMSL and I guess you guys missed it, too. Too bad there aren't enough people for a club around here... -- Have fun! John ( ig88888888@stlnet.com ) remove NOSPAM: (...) (27 years ago, 13-Jun-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

  Re: First post!

I haven't been to the big toy show in quite a while, but two years ago when I was there (when Star Wars was becoming the rage, I passed by some Legos, which would certainly be seen as a bargain today. With all the emphasis on Star Wars at local toy (...) (27 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

  Re: First post!

(...) I don't know anything about it, but it sounds like a good excuse for Missourians (and Southern Illinoisans?) to get together at an event and talk Lego. Does this event typically include Lego stuff? (27 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

  First post!

I see that the overflowing local group for Saint Louis has caused the server to add another group. I must say its about time. If anyone is out there, could someone give me details for the big toy show coming around memorial (or labor?) day at the (...) (27 years ago, 19-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo)

  where are the Lego people?

Hi, This is John from Saint Louis. I just noticed I have been subscribed to this group for a couple months and never seen a post since I first subscribed. I like Castle (and everything else!) so lets talk Lego! My sig may be outdated - that address (...) (27 years ago, 19-Apr-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.stl)

  Re: Anyone in KC?

(...) Kohl's is now running a 20% off everything sale on all Lego. They've typically got a somewhat disorganized selection of Lego similar to Walmart. But toys are just a sideline to clothing. -Jon (27 years ago, 13-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)

(...) Ouch! (...) If you post anytime that you find good sales or clearance sections, I'll be reading. Depending on the time and my finances, I'd make a trip to KC just for Lego if the sale was right. (...) Thanks. What kind of store is Kohl's? I've (...) I found the following at the Zany Brainy in Overland Park, KS. (They are probably sold out now) 7150 TIE Fighter & Y-Wing 7110 Land Speeder 7128 Speeder Bikes -Jon (27 years ago, 11-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mo.kan)

  Re: Anyone in KC?

Hi Chris! Zany Brainy in Overland Park got a small shipment of StarWars which sold out in < 1 day. Even though I called before they put them on the shelves and they promised me a copy of each, they had "forgotten" by the time I got there. If there's (...) (...) Hi, I finally found this group. If anyone reads this, post a reply. I'm collecting gray parts to build a Minifig scale Battleship. Any week now, I'll launch a web site for parts.   Re: Testing 1-2-3 Testing

(...) Wow, discussion. One thing I miss about living in a metro area is bad neighborhoods. I bet that Kmarts in bad neighborhoods are better places to look.
