 | | Shell promos
| I'm in Norway, where the Shell promos 2535-44 were for sale in 1998, which was during my dark ages. But now I understand that those promos are conquering the US, and I do have my old exchange student-host-family in Roseville. Can anyone here in (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.us.mn)

| A couple of dino island sets have popped up at gas marts lately. I picked up the one with Sam Sinister and baby T. It's a good set you get two epaulets, two short ladder/grille pieces and a butterfly catcher style net with it. All in all not a bad (...) (25 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mn)

| Hey folks, I've had the pleasure of building a Mindstorms Champsosaur, a prehistoric crocodile type creature, as part of an interactive exhibit for the Minnesota FIRST LEGO League and the Science Museum of Minnesota. The exhibit is in the Wonders of (...) (26 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mn)

| (...) I do have to agree that the Quint is not bad. I do like the new additions to the page, using the ResQ sets. I am especially impressed with the snow mobile and Snozzel. I too, have been building the 6 wide apparatus for sometime, but until (...) (26 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.mn, lugnet.loc.us.va)

| (...) Thanks all for the kind words! When John Gerlach brought his amazing new 3.3 megapixel digital camera (with 340 MB Microdrive!) to our weekly G.M.L.T.C. meeting he kindly agreed to take pictures of some of my MOC's. He even burned me a CD with (...) (26 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.mn)

| (...) I figure that any scale is fine as long as you stick to it if you want to display your models together. For example, one of my semi's (the tanker) would work well with <set:2448>, but still dwarfs a four wide. My eight-wide (the trailer, not (...) | (...) Hey, I'm a 6-8 wide fan myself! I would never build a 4-wide truck in "minifig-scale." I consider 6-wide to be a better minifig scale, especially for trucks. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (...) I was taking a shot at TLC for making *minifig* vehicles 4 wide. In fact, I have tried modeling 4 wide (...) (26 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.mn)
