Very good questions, Lar- unfortunately, until I here from John Gerlach, I don't know anything really about their group at all. He said that they were working on a webpage...BTW is anyone here savvy enough to create a web page if we do proceed? (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

(...) well, sure, free is good. But is this a go or no, given the other group's existence? What is their charter? If they are MPLS only, that shuts a number of us out. I have been on the PNLTC group's case about allowing "remote" members, but no go (...) (26 years ago, 11-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

Well, Ben Fleskes of PNLTC fame put me in contact with one of the guys who does the lego train layouts at the St.Paul GATS (John Gerlach). He informed me that a group is already going through the process of setting up a website, taking a name (UMLTC (...) (26 years ago, 9-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)
