  Re: WBZ-TV4

(...) A friend of ours here in town taped it and has a multimedia thingie in his computer and was able to convert the whole thing to a QuickTime movie! He said it came out to 33 MB. (But we don't have a copy yet.) BTW, here are a couple composite (...) (25 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

(...) Sorry I missed it :-( Hopefully we will be able to download it soon. From the pics it looks like it was interesting and you guys had some fun doing it. Allways good to get good press for the adult community. Eric The New England LEGO Users (...) (25 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

(...) Here's a downloadable version if you've got a QuickTime viewer[1]... ftp://ftp.lugnet.com...1-1855.mov ...otherwise maybe someone could convert it to an alternative format like .mpeg or .avi or something. The .mov file is 33.4 MB, so allow (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.people)

(...) Or about 8 minutes with DSL;-) What a hoot! It was fun to put a face with Suzanne. But did the reporter have to call LUGNET a "LEGO business"? That description seemed a little trite for what LUGNET is. Oh well, good airtime though{:^D Way to (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

(...) I think it was probably just the easier way they could explain it in 1 1/2 seconds. The multiple domains (lugnet.com, auczilla.com, baseplate.com, and fibblesnork.com) may also have confused things a bit. :-] The "lottery" comment, BTW, was (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.people)

Could someone send me a .zip of this file? I don't have four hours to spare online! Please! Alan This message's random set is: 5324, (URL) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.people)

  Re: WBZ-TV4

(...) Unfortunately, compressing a .mov file doesn't help much, because QuickTime files (.mov) are already compressed quite a bit (which is good :-). Still, making a .gz or .zip file does bring it down a tiny bit: 22% smaller. I haven't downloaded (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.people)

LOL! I let Barbara watch it first, and since I have headphones on my PC, I wasn't able to hear the deal until it was my turn. And just when the Legoland shot came up, Barbara was prepared to laugh at me as my jaw hit the floor! :-, Todd and Suz, you (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.people)

(...) Heh. Well, "downloadable" is a relative term. :D Is there any chance a copy of this tape might make it's way to a NELUG meeting? I'd really like to see it, but I am extremely download-lazy. eric (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos, lugnet.people)
