[off-topic] Looking for pic from 10/26/04 Tampa Tribune

This is WAY off topic - no Lego involved. My Mom is in FL working for the Kerry campaign (spare me the flames, please). She was apparently in a picture on the front of the Metro or City (or whatever it's called) section at a rally for Theresa Heinz (...) (21 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.loc.us.fl.tam)

  Sound off Tampa AFOLs!

Hey, I'm an AFOL in the Tampa region, and I am trying to find out what other AFOLs bought out the local TRU's of their 4697 tubs with the extra 500 pieces. I thought there were not many Lego fans in the area, but then in the space of one weekend (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.loc.us.fl.tam)

Hi, I'll be visiting my mom in St. Petersburg and doing stuff in Miami for the hollidays.   Re: LEGO/MLS Soccer Truck Tour Display in Tampa!

I just saw the display at MOSI. I have to agree that it was better than I had anticipated. The Vision Command System that they had on display was very, very cool. It was nice to preview the Silver Champion up close. The hydrolic droid display was (...) (26 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.fl.tam, lugnet.general)

Znap at Toys R Us, Flare at Wal-Mart

I was on a shopping trip today, checking for the usual Legos... At Toys R Us, they had two Znap sets: 3591 for $30 and 3551 for $10, if I remember correctly. At Wal-mart, I finally the Flare Throwbot for the usual $6. Not much else exciting out (...) (26 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.fl.tam)

Spark and Blaster at Toys R Us

I just saw Spark and Blaster for the first time today at Toys R Us. However, I still have yet to see Flare. Of course, I saw Millenia, the Slammers, and Star Wars Technic's, also, but they have been in abundance for some time now... Tx, +Z+ (26 years ago, 20-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.fl.tam)

Hey, well at least there's a few people close by, or by now and then. If I find something interesting, I'll post it here. And, if others could do the same, that would be great.   Tampa, FL
