be set up yet.

There are a LOT of new sculptures around the store.  The sea serpent appears to
be new and very slightly changed from the previous one (I could be wrong, but I
think the old one had a tongue and this one doesn't).  Gone are the vacationing
dinosaurs eating the ice cream cone; in their place are large versions of the
shark from 4506, the crab from 4101, and the fish from (I think) 4401.  Gone
also is the old discolored UFO; in its place is a beautifully-modeled family of
four and their dogs.  A giant version of the red dinosaur from 4507 can be seen
waving his head back and forth over the privacy wall.

I stopped in the Lego tent and asked when the store will reopen - I expected to
be told "soon" or "we don't have a date yet" or something like that, but instead
they said, "Tomorrow."

So I guess the workers are putting all the final touches on things.  It looked
like there was at least a few more days of work to be done - nothing's been put
back onto the store's roof yet, and there doesn't appear to be anything in the
play area outside other than a covered area and the dinosaur model - but I guess
these workers are going to be putting in a lot of overtime before tomorrow
morning.

I'll be there tomorrow to take pictures and, if the place really is open, to buy
lots of bricks. :)

Brain,

KK Quah and I were going to drive over for this Saturdays re-opening, but KK got
an email from the store manager tonight, that said they need to delay for
inspection... I don't know what they need to inspect, but I do know that this
will hold things up a day or two. As far as I know, Disney won’t let them take
down the walls while the shopping area is open. It has to be an overnight thing,
so it may be Sunday or Monday when they open.

Let us know if they somehow open...

It's not open today, but I took pictures: (URL) new figures outside are really nice, though I worry a little about Mom - kids kept leaning against her and she was wobbling; with her narrow feet I've got to wonder whether someone might eventually (...)
