Hi Jonathan, we usually have meetings at the Boulder Public Library. We meet about once a month. You can check out pics of some past meetings here. Pics for April will probably be up soon, the meeting is/was/will be today.

Kevin, thanks for the reply! The library, huh? Are they pretty accommodating there? How many members strong is CoLUG (roughly)? Is there a CoLUG website? Do I ask too many questions?

The library seems to like having us show up. We tend to gather in the kids’ section. The kids love it, the library thinks it’s cool and we get an ego boost from the attention.

I’m not sure how many people we have as we are pretty loose. I think we had 6 people show up for the March get together.

As far as a website is concerned, it’s all Brickshelf. I just uploaded pictures from this weekend’s gathering. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=80027 The pictures aren’t in any real sequence as I just snap them off as the fancy hits me.

Your stuff is cool. It’s hard to visualize how big everything is, since I’m so used to minifig scales (trying sculpture scares me!) How many of your models are still built? I’m looking forward to meeting you this summer!

Thanks! I love building LEGO in large scale, I can do more details that way. I still have the Acura NSX, the ‘61 Jaguar XKE, the Harley-Davidson Softtail (x 2), the Harley-Davidson logo mosaic, the golf cart, the ATV (x 2), the modified LandBusters truck and some others not yet at BrickShelf.

I haven’t had a chance to check out your stuff yet, but I will as soon as I can.

Kevin (trying very hard not to mention the fact that the Lego Store here doesn’t have pick-a-brick)

I am bummed that they don’t have a pick-a-brick in Colorado! Why even have a LEGO store w/o pick-a-brick?!? I will surely miss it!

Yeah, that’s a bummer.
