A friend who lives in Morgan Hill tells me that there was an ad in the local
paper announcing a "70% off sale" at all the Gilroy Outlet Mall stores this
weekend. That's all the info that I have: I don't know whether it's on
"selected merchandise", 70% off the already-discounted prices, etc.
I'll post a scouting report on the KayBee outlet after I go down on Saturday.
The WallyWorld right next door to the mall is the one where I spotted a huge
stock of 6180s a couple of weeks ago. I probably won't visit it unless
someone emails me and asks for a check: that was about the only Lego they
had at <95% of list.

p.s. I have one 8268 now, and two more on order from the Tent Sale: persons
attempting to raid my pile at the KB sale may be subject to strafing.

| (...) Just got back: it's "up to" 70% off "list" on "selected" merchandise, and not all stores are participating. Nothing new, or especially exciting, at the KayBee outlet, in the last couple of weeks. Not in the Lego department, at least: they're (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)
