I managed to zip down to Winchester at, um, the legal speed limit, and picked up one of the last four landspeeders. And I picked up another for a friend's kid. Everything else was gone. The TRU at Winchester has 3-4 of Speeder Bikes and Landspeeder left as of 4:30pm. According to the nice lady who's stocking up the other LEGO stuff while I was there, the other sets sold out within 30 minutes... (...) (27 years ago, 13-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
