Hi, I am nearing completion of the reconstruction of some OLD large truck sets found by my friend Art, the Garage Sale King, in Palo Alto. He also found some old lighting bricks and a 101/100 or 112 blue train/motor set with track. I hope to bring (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.basic, lugnet.town)

Re: Sept. 2 Meeting Theme, etc.

I seriously doubt I will be able to attend. If I can, I will bring - as always - trains. Of course, I have less ready for display now than I did at the NMRA, as I don't even have time to rebuild what broke during transport home. Mike Benz, Mark (...)   Re: Sept. 2 Meeting Theme, etc.

Good question. I dont have trains, but can monkey with something to make it appropriate. We could also chase something else, say Unique architecture, or Historical. my 10 cents(inflation). (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: The Spamcake Diner

(...) missing (...) Thanks Ben and Sproaticulus! I've been on vacation so I haven't done much answering and updating, but I will get a good pic of the front and put it on the diner page to complete it. BTW, for those looking at the diner page now, (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.trains, lugnet.publish, lugnet.build)

  Re: Heads up

(...) Not really: suffice it to say that George Lucas hasn't made any movies about fork lifts or tow trucks lately. Although there *were* some Giant (by minfig or Technic fig standards) Robots involved... Hmmm, maybe Lego should've gotten the folks (...) (24 years ago, 19-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Heads up

I was also suprised to find UCS Tie's and X-Wing's at the Target on Hillsdale. They also had all kinds of Mindstorms stuff...the digital camera set, DSDK, Mars explorer, and the two basic starter kits. I went at 8 am opening and their LEGO shelves (...)   Heads up

I was surprised like crazy. I was looking through a super K-Mart for discounted sets and there behind some Arctic set was 2 UCS Tie's for $99. For a place that doesnt carry good Technic or train, this seemed amazing. Anyway, it is out there if any (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: LEGO Soccer T-shirts

Hi, I have the shirts, also some smaller ones. Adult Large and Kids size 12-14. They all come with a soccer minifig, and a poster (same as in Mania Mag. oh boy) and are $12. They also sent some FIFO 2000 soccer game trial CDs to boot, so to speak, (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
