Re: Is this anyone we know??

(...) So when are we going to see the two of you (separate or together) at a BAYLUG meeting?? I'm in Oakland - where are you, Chris & Marina?? Paul Sinasohn bearitone@my-deja.com (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Is this anyone we know??

(...) The trick is finding people that are geographically close enough to play with your own Lego. Oh sure, Lego has a new webcam now, and you could setup tele-robotic Lego playing, but Cyber-Lego is not really that much fun. (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Is this anyone we know??

(...) I like it. That way we can start seeing cross postings like "Single Male Lego lover seeks...", or "I got the bricks if you got the time" or my personal favorite "Hey baby, want to come up and see my MOC's?" SWLL Mark (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Mindstorms mall tour

I just noticed that this weekend there will be an event in the Brea mall. Lego will be showing off their new Mindstorms sets. This event will start on Friday the 1st through Sunday the 3rd.   AFOL Matchmaking (was Re: Is this anyone we know??)

(...) On the heels of Tom and Suz's LEGOLand wedding, this is - on the surface anyways - a great idea. The problem is male AFOLs probably outnumber female AFOLs about ten to one. Suzanne's got her guy, and the other babes out there can take their (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.people, lugnet.org.ca.nalug)

Re: Is this anyone we know??

(...) I don't think I'll be there, Fremont is a little far to go. Although that's certainly some incentive. :-) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Is this anyone we know??

(...) I could go for that! :-) Every once in a while I think about crossposting to ba.personals and rec.toys.lego, but I don't think it'd be appropriate. It sucks being single and having lots of Lego. I need someone to sit down with me and (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
