  Kidvention.. who's going?

I'm thinking of going down to Carlsbad sometime during the week of 7/8.. anyone else gonna be there? I don't have a set day for that week, but will try and schedule it around a day when other local maniacs would be there to possibly meet up. -Tom (...)   Re: Scout on sale at Fry's Electronics for $69

Fry's usually opens things like that to put inventory control tags into the boxes; if the tags are on the outside of the boxes, they are more easily removed. TRU does the same thing. -Cheese (...) $149.99. (...) have (...) them (...) one at (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

Re: Scout on sale at Fry's Electronics for $69

It was pretty much the same story at the Palo Alto Fry's. I saw at least 50 RDSs. They rang up at $69.99, but the boxes and the shelves still said $149.99. Since the boxes had been opened (who? why?) I appreciated having Paul's inventory. I counted (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

(...) Shiri, That is the one downfall of older webcams. I can view the room just fine, but focusing on anything less than a foot away will be blurry.   Re: My temporary site is up

(...) Great job, Dave! Those look good, put the pictures are quite blurry... does your camera have any manual-focus option? If so, I suggest using it- it's a fabulous function, and allows you to take close-up pics without the blurriness. hth, -Shiri (24 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.loc.us.ca.la, lugnet.build.minifigs)

I'm sorry, Eric - I didn't get in to the TRU until late Friday night. I would sell the Znap to you at the $22.50 + tax cost by way of apology, if you want. Paul Sinasohn bearitone@my-deja.com (24 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
