Summer fest on the East coast?

About a month or two ago, some ideas were thrown around that sounded great.
Too bad nobody developed them...
So, is anyone up for a fest in the East coast? Early summer would be a great
time.
Suggested location was Washington DC - not too far from anywhere, so both
South Carolina people and Bostonians (like me :) can come...
I think this could be great fun if we plan well.
Ideas, suggestions, contributions? Anyone?
