Re: Any LUG in the Albuquerque area?

There used to be. Back in 2002, two other AFOL's and I started one up. We met a few times and for various personal reasons on each person's part, we sort of drifted apart. Every now and then I come across these guys in a LUGNET post or on an instant (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.us.nm)

Re: Any LUG in the Albuquerque area?

Howdy, It seems about time we start up a NMLUG. I've been stuck in a dark ages since undergrad (about 6 years now!), and its time to get out of the slump. A local LUG would be great motivation for getting building again! Any interest for setting one (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.us.nm)

Re: Where to go in Washington area?

Lenny gave excellent suggestions on places to visit. If you have transportation, such as a rental car, you should also visit George Washington's home, Mount Vernon, (URL), historic Williamsburg, the colonial capitol of Virginia (URL) and Jamestown, (...)   Re: Where to go in Washington area?

(...) Washington DC is a beautiful part of the country. There are many other beautiful parts of the country (remember - the USA is roughly the size of Europe), but I'd recommend staying in DC. DC has tons upon tons of museums, libraries, and (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.us.dc)

Where to go in Washington area?

After attending BrickFest I intend to stay about two weeks in the US. I'm from the Netherlands, don't know the Washington area and don't have any specific plans yet. My question is what location in the wider area around Washington you would (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.loc.us.dc, lugnet.loc.us.va, lugnet.loc.us.md)

  Re: Kind of quiet....

(...) Snip (...) Hi Joe, I'm sorry, I had missed your other post asking if there were any adult LEGO fans in the Fort Collins area. I currently live just North of Fort Collins, but I work there, as well as doing most of my shopping, etc. there. I've (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.us.co, FTX)

  Re: Kind of quiet....

(...) Welcome. We do get together, although it is rather infrequent. You'll have to let us know when you get settled in. That sounds like a good reason to have another get together. :-) -Duane (19 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.us.co, FTX)

  Re: Kind of quiet....

(...) Sorry to be replying to such an old thread, but it seems an appropriate way to introduce myself. I'm moving to Ft. Collins in a couple of weeks, and I'll be looking for other ALEs to meet with. I've already pestered a few of you by email, by (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.us.co, FTX)
