| Kingston is almost on the way between LHR and LGW but it'a an awful place to get to and from by car and you'd need to allow at least 5 hours (2 hours to fight through the traffic, park and find the shop, 1 hour to shop, and 2 hours to Gatwick, (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.uk)

| I will be attending a meeting for work at a hotel near Heathrow 12/1 and 12/2 and wondering if any of the LEGO Brand Stores are near by? | At the Hull (UK) Model Railway Show last weekend, my 8mm:1ft scale British Class 28 CoBo engine (known to fans of Thomas as "BoCo") won the A1 Models Trophy for the best "modern outline" exhibit. (In this case "modern outline" means post-1950 diesel (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)
