At the Hull (UK) Model Railway Show last weekend, my 8mm:1ft scale British Class
28 CoBo engine (known to fans of Thomas as BoCo) won the A1 Models Trophy for
the best modern outline exhibit. (In this case modern outline means
post-1950 diesel engine).

This was enough to convince someone involved with Railway Modeller magazine,
whom I had found a hard nut in terms of accepting Lego trains, to take a few
photos. If any of them end up in the mag then we can claim a miracle!
I hope this has helped to get Lego trains accepted more in the model railway
community.

| (...) I should point out that Mark's award is even greater than it might seem to the US AFOL. Unlike in the US, in the UK Lego trains are not really represented in the general railway modelling community (well its just Mark really!) and for him to (...) (20 years ago, 16-Nov-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
