Yeah, we had problems with the renewal.

I hope the .org will spring to life for all soon, but in the meantime you
can try www.brickish.org.uk, www.brickish.co.uk, www.brickish.com all of
which have been registered and will lead to the same place.

As of now, I can't connect via the .org but can via the .co.uk.

This is bad...I've been trying to log on all day, but no joy. We're • doomed.
Doomed I say.

Pete

I believe that "some people can get in, some can't" is a sign that some
nameserver caches have been flushed and some haven't (or conversely, • some were
flushed and refreshed and some are still just flushed)... I would bet on • the
former because this particular machine (it is a machine at a client • which surely
has never been there before, and I daresay hadn't been to LUGNET before • today
either) can't get there, but some other machines can. But I wouldn't bet • a lot.

I hope that helps.

Also: I hope it's back soon! I'm sadly lacking in my daily quotient of • UKish
smartypantsness, and starting to run a deficiency.

(...) Of those, so far only "www.brickish.co.uk" works for me. However, I have found another way in that seems to work: On your PC, do a FIND for a file called "hosts". It doesn't have a file extension. It's a permanent list of server and domain (...) (20 years ago, 31-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) ah .. thank the brick gods .. withdrawal symptoms would have set in soon .. I saw a (rather tall) grown man nearly crying this weekend when he couldn't get onto Brickish (20 years ago, 1-Sep-04, to lugnet.loc.uk)
