  NBA display at LSB

I popped in to Lego Shop Bluewater today for a look round, particularly at the new designer sets. Very nice. However I was troubled by the lack of care taken with the shop displays. There was a display Basketball court with the real-life NBA player (...) (22 years ago, 16-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Edinburgh Science Festival

Isn't Diageo a drinks company? Presumably, the worker ants have all become somewhat the worse for wear after a hard day down the nest and gone to bed, leaving all the bottles and cans to be recycled by the aforementioned teams :-) Tony "Scott A" (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Aldershot Lego Fest Roll Call

Unfortunately I'll be unable to make it on the 29th. Have fun! cheers Magnus (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 2003 catalogue

(...) Having said that, I should point out that I've not actually noticed any marking up of prices in John Lewis. Toys'R'Us really overdo it on the larger sets though. Jason J Railton (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 2003 catalogue

(...) It's what I thought - a concession to these shops so that the catalogue you pick up in-store doesn't show up the mark-up they've put on goods. Toys'R'Us have an extra £10 on the price of a Republic Gunship, for example. The catalogue I picked (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 2003 catalogue

My catalogue arrived from Lego today! It has RR prices, but the one from John Lewis didn't - it is strange to print two different catalogues. David (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Edinburgh Science Festival

It looks like Lego are taking part in the Edinburgh Science Festival: (URL) this new adventure game all the way from Legoland!! The worker ants have left the nest in a mess. Working in teams with help from the Lego trash trooper robots, you have to (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 2003 catalogue

(...) Just got one too. I notice it lists RRP prices. I wonder if Toys'R'Us are too embarrased to carry them. Or maybe they'll just have their own printed again... (...) I think they're brilliant. They look more versatile and certainly cheaper than (...) (22 years ago, 10-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  2003 catalogue

At last I got my 2003 Lego catalogue. I phoned Lego twice but they never sent one - what has happened to their customer services? I got it at John Lewis/Baimbridge in Newcastle - that's where I got my first Lego train in 1985! Thanks to all those (...) (22 years ago, 9-Mar-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)
