Someone has emailed me after finding my address from LUGNET looking for a 4561 Railway Express Set. He has found a battered copy in a local Toys R Us but would like a good one because 'Father Christmas can't deliver a battered set'! Can anyone help (...) Whilst Christmas shopping in John Lewis in Newcastle I ended up buying myself a Yoda. The reason is because it was cheap(ish). Reduced from £79 to £53. There are a couple of other reductions: The Steven Spielberg Movie Maker set thing is £106 ish. (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

There have been various reports on the MK LEGO shop but is it an exciting shop as it was claimed it would be. Is it full of children buying LEGO, are there lots of thing to see and do? The segment was in respect to "tat" being sold by the church. The featured items were a "nodding" figure of Jesus, an inflatable cathedral and the "Brick Testament" Father, Son & Holy Ghost set.
