I have noticed the same thing at TRU Woking and Cribbs Causeway Bristol.
I'm going to have a look at the TRU at Brent Cross soon, one of my students
works there.
As for the Walmart in Bristol, forget it, they seem to have settled nicely
into fleece the British mode instead of the aggressive US style discounting
I was hoping for.
There wasn't any Lego in the John Lewis sale at Cribbs, JL Kingston do have
a load of Mindstorm sets at full price, including truck loads of Ultimate
Accessory sets. Maybe I'll take my old Lego PC World receipts there, see if
they'll do a price match.
If I get them I'll send you all a photo using my new Kodak digital camera ;-)))
