Thanks for the comments, Hugh. I still don't think windows would look right
somehow.

I might be mistaken, but my impression of engine sheds from when I visited
rail museums as a child was of long tall windowless buildings, with no hint
of the behemoths that lay inside until the massive doors were opened and the
loco slowly emerged from the darkness. Any work done on the locos always
seemed to be done under the dim glare of artificial lighting. Maybe part of
the reason might be that the sheds were always in a state of disrepair with
most of their windows boarded up.

That still means I'll be keeping Shop At Home in business when I get round
to ordering a ton of 9v light bricks though :)
