I picked up a new 2001 August - January LEGO catalogue today, I was
surprised as LEGO UK said it wouldn't be out 'till October.
It is bigger than before - 100 pages.
"New" items are :-
Lego Baby, soft toys many new sets including a Primo train & plane (June)
Duplu, new brick runner, cars, tubes (June)
Train, nothing new,
Zooters, a new range funny insect type things (June)
Bob the builder, new range (August)
MyBot, infa red controlled bulldozer (Sept)
JackStone, new range, police, fire engines etc. (Aug/Sept)
Scala, some new sets (Sept)
Harry Potter, 3 small sets with cardboard back scenes, 8 large sets
including the castle & Hogwarts Express - a close up picture of the train
suggest the boiler opens up, as there looks like a hinge along its length (Oct)
Racers, new range, small racing cars (July/Sept)
Trains, nothing new,
Dinosaurs, new range (June)
Lego Studios, some new sets (May)
Star Wars, nothing new,
Bionicle, some new larger sets (Aug)
Technic, 4x4 vehicle, (Aug/Sept)
Mindstorms, robotics invention, (Sept)
Software, Island2, Bionicle, Racer 2, Creator - Harry Potter (Sept/Oct)
