Bionicle mask packs 30p, bionicle cans £2, many junior town sets from £2
(all less than half shop price) Old slizers were £1. small >bionicles were
aslso £1.00 or 2 for £1.50.

stalls and to be at three separate boot sales makes me wonder? in case your
wondering yes! I bought a shed load.
I have posted before regarding a trader at a 'car boot' I regularly attend
who every week has a range of latest lego sets on offer at 1/2 price - well
half his price anyway - which is about 30-40% off what you would see at
Lego, TRU, etc.
I discussed this with him. He buys the stuff quite legit at a wholesaler,
and sells it on at the car boot and other markets he attends on his rounds.
Given that I expect the mark up on toys to be quite high, he can clearly
still make a profit with his low costs.
It is the only place I ever buy new sets (except in store sales time)
Unfortunately, he doesnt have a big range - the wholesaler is only allowed
to sell 'smaller' sets - so no Silver champions at 40% off I am afraid.
But for star wars, etc, etc it is great.
He doesnt have a great stock either, so its still a case of getting to the
car boot fair early to get the bargains.
Perhaps the ones you found did the same.
I would expect Lego to distribute stuff to small shops via a wholesaler -
they dont have the bulk to deal direct like say a whoolies or TRU, etc.
They cant control what the people who buy it from the wholesaler do with it.
Of course, it could equally be hot!!!
