profundities...

Went to the Windows 99 conference at Olympia. Waste of time
and too few exhibitors.

I went there too, on Tuesday. As you say a big waste of time, and tiny
compared to last years. I wonder why?

How much were the SW sets at LL? What time do you need to arrive after to
get in free?

Huw

I arrived at 545pm. And had to ask permission to go through.
Total cost for the sets was 93.95.
Tie-39.99
Speeder bikes-7.99
Land Speeder-5.99
Snow Speeder-14.99
Xwing-24.99.
Brought the TIE and speeder bikes to work. I have already
had one request for all 5!

(...) That sounds a bit steep - or are some of these sets bigger than they look in the catalogue? Judging from the pix in the catalogue, I find it hard to believe that the Tie is worth £40, or the XWing is worth £24.99. Simon (URL) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.starwars)
