OK I want to know what is happening with the layout.
I think we should all do a complete inventory of what sets we are bringing and
then someone can volunteer to do a quick design of the track layout.

I'm also bringing 12V and 4.5V (Blue) - is anyone else bringing any of these
items?

I will complete an inventory of train stuff at the week end
I have 4 9v trains and one 4.5v
I have a couple hundred lengths of track, some points.
I have my Metrostation Plus

I also have the start of the Metrostation Terminus, but this needs platforms
to complete (as well as me completing the model!). See my previous post
regarding number of platform pieces required.

As I said in a previous post, it may not be the best idea to try to connect
all the track in one layout anyway. How would you control all the trains on it?
Might it be better if we have several visually connected layouts, but not
physically connected. Everyone can keep their track separate that way and
avoid collisions!

e.g. I could focus on a Metrotrain layout. Metro terminus, metrostation plus,
and several metro liners running back and forth on my track. Someone else
could then do a goods yard layout and run mine and others goods trains on it.
Then we could have a channel tunnel section with the more recent trains. etc,
etc.

Still requires planning I suppose, even to get some visual.
I have the track designer and am happy to play with it.

Anyone bringing a airport shuttle monorail? They always look nice mixed with
trains.
We could add an airport. I have several runway plates.

lawrence
