I feel that I may be able to come to the Reddifest and I'am looking to increase my technic bits collection most especially:
Yellow Technic beams and plates
Any Yellow standard plates
Technic Wheels - Medium sizes (all types) - I am really after the crane truck (8460 wheels!
Universal Joints + any other good deals on miscellaneous gears etc
Can you get hold of any of these from Joyce
PLMK if you can help me out here!
An example of prices would also be useful

First off, "Hi" to Joyce (my toy dealer friend) and Sean (another AFOL who
attended my LEGOfest), who both now have access to read this group, but not
yet to post to it (?) 8-)
Joyce will not be able to attend Redditch as it clashes with another toy fair.
Sean hopes to attend though...
As reported a while back, I paid a visit to Joyce on Sunday in search of
goodies for Reddifest. She has given me all her Minifigs to sell onto you
guys, and there's probably 1000 of them! I'll spend the next few weeks sorting
the torso types and splitting down the mixed-up heads / legs / headwear etc...
What I'll probably do is let you guys pick out the torsos you want and then
build up your minifigs accordingly. I guess that the value is generally in the
torso anyway (BTW: no mainden's hats in the bundle 8-( )... Does a minimum of
25p per minifig sound fair? I'm sure that those of you who want the Pirate
wenches and forestmen, etc. would be happy to offer a little more (?) 8-)
I don't think that we've tried anything like this at a fest before... PLMK if
you think that I'm going about this the wrong way! I don't want to offend
anyone, or threaten to turn a friendy show-and-swap meeting into a trade fair!
If you feel that this will work, I can ask Joyce if she'll let me bring her
Technic along too - heck of a lot of beams and axles, plus bags and boxes of
gears, wheels and all those fiddly Technic bits! Not my cup of tea, but I know
that many of you are likely to be interested...
Any other types of bits I should bring along? LMK!
