Quick 8448 question.

I'm a little excited about getting 3 of these for £120. Only 2 things
are dampening this:
1) I've not told my wife yet.
2) The door dampener things. I know these will break. Is it possible
that Lego will give me replacements for these _before_ they break. I'll
need 4 sets, will they give me all of these at once? Has anyone else
asked for preemptive multiple replacements?

| I know I'm in the US, but I did call LEGO customer service when one of my 4 broke. I told them I had all three sets which have the dampener in it but one had broken and I expected the other to as well. They sent me 4. Since then, I had one more (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
