| | But sadly, only one Lego set was available..... 8437 at 15 quid. Bloody good value! This was in High Wycombe, and they had quite a few of them. All other sets were normal price, and no '99 sets. Argos did not have any '99 sets available, and what (...) (26 years ago, 28-Dec-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)

| | | | The only item I have seen on sale so far is the motorised Cyberslam set in Argos. I think it was 19.99, down from 20-something. Huw (26 years ago, 28-Dec-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)

| | | | | | I will hopefully make it to one of 3 Entertainers near me, though considering my explosive purchase yesterday, will do so just for information purposes..... Any other purchases I make I shall wait for my trip to the states next month, in the hope I (...) (26 years ago, 29-Dec-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)

| | | | | Annoying, isn't it?? The yanks have sales every week, we are lucky to find one at all... And if we do, 'tis usually just the occasional set, or discontinued line. 2 years is too long to wait to buy some sets!! Huw Millington wrote in message ... (...) | | | | There is a review on lugnet.review and RTL. The RTL one though has generated more response. 5/10. Great idea, great potential, poorly implemented. Biggest problems with the theme are L&S and juniorized elements. Smaller sets are better. Huw (...) (26 years ago, 1-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

| | | | (...) That was my opinion judging by the pictures - the satellite and moon buggy, the two I bought are pretty good. I was tempted to buy more, but luckily you have put me off - thanks. Huw (26 years ago, 1-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

| | | | Your welcome. Those little sets are great! I haven't given up. I am following on the the 6 stud wide module idea. I have built a few, and a new rear module. Even though I would rather build without the L&S sections, don't have anywhere enough (...) (26 years ago, 1-Jan-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
