  Too much crane?

Hi folks, Looks like it is a plentiful weekend for new MOCs! I have a preview of a new creation online, yet another All Terrain Crane, but with some new twists to keep things interesting. Still, is it possible to have too many cranes? The model is (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.loc.uk) !!

2002 Catalogue is out and in shops

Well its in Toymaster in Sheffield. The cover looks interesting, but there is nothing in it that we didn't already know. Anyway I picked up a few copies. Michael. (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Shop display spotted at toy fair

I saw a trophy (FA cup type of thing) at the Sandown Park fair today. It was white, glued together as normal, and had yellowed badly. There were some stickers which said 'Patrol Killer' on the side which I think must have been added fairly recently. (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: S@H: new keychains - Yoda and Stormtrooper

Very nice - Thanks for the pics. Don't you love how LEGO just kind of tortures you with cool SW things by making them hard to get? Toymaking sadists ;). I'll be looking out for my March/April catalog for the same. mo www.galacticbrick.com (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Forget 3033 get one one of these 5800 Piece boxes!

(...) No need to apologise, that's brilliant. You should post your slogan to 'Dear Lego' :-) (...) Agreed. Steve (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Forget 3033 get one one of these 5800 Piece boxes!

(...) Touche. (...) How about this for the new LEGO company slogan? They could print it on large banners and hang them about the offices and factories. "Think about what's INSIDE the box." A slight reworking of your words above.... my apologies. :) (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) Isn't this the new Lego move into management consulting????? Teach executives how to manage better by "playing with Legos" I sense a HUGE ironic twist to this.   Re: Interested in a swap? 6579 tyre's wanted

(...) Steve, are you sure the set # is correct? From the figure in the database, I can't see any tyres on it! (skis only) Any other set where the same wheels are used? Pedro (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Interested in a swap? 6579 tyre's wanted

I require 2 6579 tyre's for a quick experiment and seeing as "Hooked on Lego's" minimum order limit is $4 it seem's like using them would be a lot of trouble just for two tyre's (and the experiment may fail). This is where the idea of a swap came to (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
