Portuguese National Monument built in 1520; declared World Heritage site by
UNESCO in 1983.
This is the 5th version, built for the first public exhibition by PLUG
(Portuguese LUG, http://plug.no.sapo.pt). It stands on a 64x80 stud base, and
is about 55 bricks tall. It took araund 20 hours to build, with the priceless
help from Tânia, my wife.
This latest version differs from #4
(http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=57817) because it has a
better scale, despite not having any interior features. The 4th version was
displayed in LEGOworld 2003, in Zwolle (NL)
do PLUG (http://plug.no.sapo.pt).

Luis, With every upgrade this gets better. I especially like how you did the crennelations and the new details on the tower. Is this the ultimate version, or do you have further additions in mind? Bruce Hietbrink (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle, FTX)
