Hi, I'm going to New Zealand on a vacation and I'll be there until the beginning of March. Where might I be able to find cheap (or at least reasonably priced) LEGO Technic & Mindstorms sets? Any help would be greatly appreciated, - David (24 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.nz)

My order for $2600 worth of Lego product has arrived safe and sound here in New Zealand with no additional charges to be paid. According to the December 2001 Australian Issue of Reader's Digest, New Zealand is the cheapest place to buy, among other things, LEGO, due to their low import duties, low consumer taxes, low retail margins and weak dollar.
