Lego is not particularly cheap here in New Zealand, but with the NZ
dollar equal to only 43 cents US, you may be able to score yourself some
bargains!
For example, (if it was available) the Harry Potter train was retailing
at 129.95 NZD. That equals 55.86 USD. How does that compare? Or the
large Life On Mars set at 249.95 NZD (107.50 USD).
Mindstorms sets are mostly sold by Dick Smith Electronics. Let me know
where you will be visiting and I will list the retailers in that area.
There have been no 2002 sets appear on the shelves here yet.

| Thanks for the reply, We already left Auckland and we're heading south toward the south island. We'll probably pass through Picton, Queenstown, Wanaka and god knows were else... we're planning this as we go along. If that too general for a good (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.loc.nz)
