Hi,

Sometimes you don’t know what hit you...

“De Naald” (needle) was the self constructed ship of notorious assassin Sharakk. He built it’s ship in the early 22cnd century (earth time) to have the best possible craft for hit and run actions. Typically, Sharakk would slamm into a capital ship, board from his spaceship, assassinate his target and blast off the way he came.

Speed, manoeuvrability and survival in all conditions were the starting points for the design. The ship featured an extremely tough, sharp-edged outer hull, full aerodynamic capabilities and an (for that time) experimental combustion/hyper-ion drive. It was only armed with 4 small conventional cannons, located under the wings (strangely, Sharakk had developed an obsession for Earth’s World War 2 aircraft and was convinced that these primitive cannons would match his style...)

(...) This has a fantasitic shape. One of the old Buck Rogers ships...I think the one Tigerman bobbed about in, was really similar to this. Loved it then and the shape still holds true. It has a true alien look to it and I imagine was a challenge to (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
