  Re: What's the weather like?

(...) I must admit that I exagerated a bit. I don't know the average salaries, but the "minimum salary" in Denmark is around 130 kkr. 90% of the population earning less than 300 kkr sounds probable. Play well, Jacob (who should check www.danmark.dk (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.dk)

  Re: What's the weather like?

(...) I discussed this with another Dane I know. I stated that our average annual salary is something like 150-200,000kr but he reckoned that only 10% of Danes earned more than 300,000. Huw (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.dk)

  Re: What's the weather like?

The weather was great, we had a great time, but I have another question: Just how do you (Danes) afford to live there? Almost everything is 50-100% more expensive than here in the UK! Huw (25 years ago, 4-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.dk)

  Re: What's the weather like?

Huw Millington: (...) It is slightly better than "the same as yesterday". Generally the weather moves east-wards along the Rossby waves, which usually means from England or Scotland towards Denmark. Things do change on the way, but usually not that (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.dk)

  Re: What's the weather like?

(...) Thanks - much the same as here then. Can you tell what weather you'll get from what we've had with accuracy, then? Huw (25 years ago, 27-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.dk)

  Re: What's the weather like?

Huw Millington: (...) I only have forecasts until friday available. Friday it will be sunny, 26°C day, 15°C night, and 5 m/s. If it is going to rain in UK friday there is a small risk it might rain here in the weekend. Play well, Jacob ---...--- -- (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.dk)

  What's the weather like?

I'll be in Billund next weekend. My wife is fretting about the weather and what clothes to pack. What weather can we expect? The internet forecasts I have read say its about 23C at the moment, which is just a bit cooler than here. Huw (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.dk)
