Mastermind
New "Value Pack": Championship Challenge and Bulls Attack
have been wrapped together in clear plastic and priced at $115. The price of
buying the sets separately is $140. Slammer Turbo, a "June 2001"
release, is out now! It is $30. Fire Helicopter, a possibly rare
set, was $32 or $33. I saw Aero Tube Hangar for the first time,
$130.
Zellers
Big news- Creator is here! Spot & Friends, Tina's House,
The Race of the Year, and two sets not in the guide- Max's Pitstop
(?56 pcs, $10), and Max goes Flying (166 pcs, $20). Max goes Flying looks like
a cool set, there's a brick with funny grouchy eyes printed on it.
Sears
All LEGO is 20% off. Selection not great. Alien Discovery is still
$10, but I think I got the only one. Railway Express was $190,
probably the most expensive I've ever seen it.
Walmart
Some older sets. There were still two copies of Aqua Dozer, but I
didn't check the price. This set is in The Vault (www.insidethevault.com), so
I guess its collectible now. Lots of Arachnoid Star Base at $45
each- very good, I reccommend this! I got one, and I think it is a really fun
set.
Well, that was the highlights of LEGO shopping in Pickering. Lots of
interesting LEGO! Now, does anyone know where I can get Alpha Team????????
