  Re: Trip to Seattle

(...) Well I've posted about my situation a while ago, and I'll just reiterate what I've said: I can only go on Friday since I'm leaving the country on Saturday. My car is small and can only fit 2 people comfortably, and the seats are occupied (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

  Trip to Seattle

So, we still need to make a definite plan for this trip down to Seattle for the world record train track attempt. I have 5 seats in my van. So far they are filled by myself, my daughter, Dean, possibly Alex (who will give up her place to a train (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

Dark Side Developer Kit spotted in Vancouver!

Hi, Actually, in Richmond Center, there's a small toy store called "Kid's Wonderland." And it surely is! Today I spotted the Dark Side Developer Kit - I think they had two copies. The price tag is $149.99 CDN. It was in the front window. Also, they (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Extremely cheap 4561 Railway Express

If anyone wants this set, the Zellers at Semiahmoo Mall in White Rock has several marked down to $99, then with the 30% off they come out at about $69! There were still 3 or so left when I finished yesterday. Kevin (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

  Re: New Sets at TRU!

I was at the TRU in Langley the other day. They had all of the stuff mentioned in this thread as well as the new Pod racers bucket! It's about the size of the smaller (red) buckets, and is black with metallic silver specks in it. Pretty funky! While (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

Re: PNLTC to break Guinness record!

Wayne & Terri, and Laura, and those who emailed me with offers of a place to stay - thank you all very much. Right now we don't how many are coming or when so I don't think we can make definite plans, but I will get back to you nearer to the time (...) (...) My husband and I can provide crash space for two unfriendly people, or four or so friendly folks. More, if you are willing to sleep on the floor (we have a very large living room and a moderately ok spare room, one wimpy futon and one wimpier (...)   Re: PNLTC to break Guinness record!

I'm working on having space available. I think a few other PNLTCers may have room, too, though our first priority is the Portland members coming in. Wlyk soon. In lugnet.trains, Kevin Wilson writes:<snip> Would any PNLTC'ers be (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

Re: PNLTC to break Guinness record!

Well, I have a 7-seater van which I'm willing to fill with people and Lego. (Don't think we could fit 7 people PLUS Lego... there will have to be a balance struck...). ANyway, if people from here want to share gas and make a road trip of it, I'm OK (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jun-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)
