G'day folks, Just noticed in the paper that Zellers is having yet another 15% off sale on all LEGO. For those who missed the mid-2000 sets hitting the TRU shelves during their 20% off sale, this may be a good consolation. Our local Zelleri had things like Star Wars AAT's and Adventurers Dinos sets on the shelves... On a related note, anyone else notice LEGO's change of packaging with the mid- 2000 sets? The medium-sized sets no longer have an internal cardboard tray and the box itself is made of much heavier card stock. My 7155 and 5935 were like this. Overall it seems a good idea..., cheaper to produce, and much more survivable among a stampeding herd of LEGO fanatics :] Other countries getting this as well? (...) There's another twist to this weeks Zellers sale. APart from the fact that it started Wed instead of Sat (to avoid Canada Day, presumably), they also have 30% off discontinued Lego. (...) And you can get an additional 10% (well, 8.5%) off if you take your grandmother shopping on Monday. The first Monday of every month is seniors (55 years and over) day.
