Re: Well, I can ask him, but I don't think he'll be very keen!

(...) There's at least some in lugnet.org.nalug. Occasionally. :-) (...) I can probably get shot by the other nalug-ers (see (URL) our little page), but you might also consider the Cyber K'nex stuff. It looked interesting, but I haven't physically (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.ab.edm)

  Re: 6150 Crystal Detector

Hi, (...) I picked up the set on the weekend. It has some ok parts for $15. You can see the inventory for 6150 here: (URL) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Well, I can ask him, but I don't think he'll be very keen!

(...) Heh. Yeah, well us locals tend to do our yakking on the NALUG mailing list. As Steve (Chapple) reminds us, we should do more talking on Lugnet, just so folks know we exist. :) (...) That's easy to fix. :) (...) You should talk to John Koob or (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.ab.edm)

Well, I can ask him, but I don't think he'll be very keen!

I see this is a pretty high traffic group :-) I figured I should post something, just so Edmonton gets some representation during the year 2001 :-) I don't know if I count though, seeing as I don't actually own any Lego yet. The Mindstorms/RCX stuff (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.ab.edm)

  Re: 6150 Crystal Detector

(...) According to the Lugnet guide, this is a $20 US set- that's a ridiculous $30 CDN at full price. I think it's already is on clearance, unless this turns out to be a 2002 Classic rerelease. (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.market.shopping)

Walmart rollbacks some LEGO- got your Mania Magazine coupons? :)

Looking through the flyers and.... LEGO rollbacks! Now $54.86 are the <set:7316 Excavation Searcher>, the <set:8549 Tarakava>, and the <set:3409 Championship Challenge>. But LEGO Mania magazine recently gave club members coupons for $15 off the (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: 6150 Crystal Detector

Bryan Wong wrote in message ... (...) Yes, they have a whole whack of them at the Zellers in North Van too. I'm waiting for them to go on clearance after Xmas :-)... I can't see much in the way of parts in them that I would find useful. Kevin (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: LEGO finds at the Pickering mall

(...) I'm pretty sure the 8720 was never re-released. They occasionally crop up here in Australia too - I picked up a damaged one (already opened) for AU$15 at Big W once. And it was only missing the crown wheel & rubber bands!! ROSCO (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on)

  6150 Crystal Detector

Hi all, I just found a bunch of 6150 Crystal Detector sets for $15 CDN! I found them at Zellers at Lansdowne Mall (Richmond, BC in Canada) and they had around 20 copies. Although the set doesn't really interest me, it was a pleasant sight to see (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van, lugnet.market.shopping)
