  Combo box @ Winners

Just a heads up on a decent price for Adventurers & Rock Raiders parts. I was returning some stuff at Winners yesterday and spotted an Adventurers/Rock Raiders combo box. The two sets were Tunnel Transport (4980) and River Expedition (5976) for (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Lego Life on Mars Tour

Looks like Lego has organized a Life On Mars Truck Tour that is slated to be at the Science Centre in Toronto on July 5th and 6th. The tour truck with adjacent tents is to be set up in the parking lot, so admission is free. Here is the link for (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca.on, lugnet.org.ca)

  Poly Bags at Sears

Hey All, Noticed today at my local Sears, that the Knights Kingdom and Arctic Poly bag sets were all marked down to .99. With 20% off all lego they came up at .79 plus tax. John Battcock (23 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Wal-Mart Rollback on 7146

(...) at (...) Really? Wow, that's one of the few non-huge Star Wars sets I don't have. The Zellers price is closer to $28, IIRC. (23 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Deals at Walmart

I was browsing my local Walmart, and found the 7317 Aero Tube Hanger for $88 Canadian. I've seen them at TRU for $130. I think I've posted here about finding that before. I was planning on getting one of those but I decided I should look around some (...) (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Lego at Sears Outlet Brampton

(...) I think you are right...6600 has been generally viewed by most as "disappointing"...very juniorized as you say...except the "crane" has 3 different attatchments which isn't too bad... me...I just love the raised hiway...and hopefully in (...)   RE: Lego at Sears Outlet Brampton

Hi, I've always checked the Sears Outlet in Kitchener for LEGO and they never had any. So I went there today thinking that I might luck out. They did have a few small sets: Soccer Expansion Set, Firefighters Lift Truck, Island Hopper, and the (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor)

Re: Lego at Sears Outlet Brampton

(...) Although I hate juniorization, I ended up picking up set 6600 for my three year old son. He loves cranes, and I figure with this set being extremely juniorized it is appropriate for his age with supervised play. Besides I'm getting tired of (...)   Re: Lego at Sears Outlet Brampton

(...) <snip> (...) Just for the record, I bought one of these a little while back, and it's a pretty disappointing set: extreme juniorization. The road bits and some of the construction hardware is neat, but the vehicle chassis, crane deck, etc, (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on.tor)

  Wal-Mart Rollback on 7146

Just back from my local Wal-Mart and noticed that the Tie Fighter was priced at $22.86. They're still $30 @ Zellers. Our Wal-Mart hasn't stocked up on Lego for awhile. They have a lot of 5978 (Sphynx Secret Surprise) & 6977 (Arachnoid Star Base) (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.loc.ca)
