Duty should not be a problem on LEGO. I've bought from USA and Europe (France). When they come through Borderfree, they act as the broker and classify them properly -- duty free. The only charge is GST/PST as in Canada. If you purchase from someone (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Hey I haven't actually looked into this as of the time I'm replying but this sounds really cool! I now have another question, however..... What is the deal with paying "duty" on items and how is it determined? I can't seem to find out much info on (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Hello, I got tired of trying to find Canadian online Lego sellers that were competitive...I've been purchasing "sale" merchandise from eToys, Walmart, etc. through a service in Canada called Borderfree (www.borderfree.com). They act as a broker for (...) (24 years ago, 30-Dec-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)
