(...) Hm... Hey! *i'm* in London... Where in London is "Bluewater"?? :-) Or do you mean London Ontario? I've heard of that one Thanks! ++Lar (24 years ago, 18-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

  Re: Shop at Home Online

(...) I just placed an order today, so it hasn't been shipped. Also, I don't think the service has been online for more than a day or two, at most, so there's no real feedback possible as to shipping time. That being said, S@H online is just an (...) (24 years ago, 18-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Shop at Home Online

Has anyone ordered anything from Shop At Home Online ((URL) had it delivered to Canada? I was just wondering what kind of experience people had. Was it fast? Did you have to pay alot of duties? Are regular sets cheeper to buy at a local store? (...) (24 years ago, 18-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Supertrain a no go? (was: Re: Making up our collective minds...)

Whatever happened to the guys who came to GETS2000 and were AFOLs? Has any of them contacted anyone of us (NALUG) yet? They might be able to assist with Calgarty. I posted a challenge for locals to host a train show on the Calgary Lugnet site quite (...) (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.loc.ca.ab, lugnet.loc.ca.ab.cal)

In lugnet.org.ca.nalug, James Brown writes: <snip> (...) OK. Looks to me like we don't currently have enough people to be able to do Supertrain. Steve is willing and able; John is willing, and might be able; I am able - but only willing if we have a (...)   Re: Lego Stores in Canada

G'Day Finally made the Bi-annual trek to St Jacobs. Of interest I noted a new (to me anyway) StarWars EP1 combo pack, a GUNGAN sub(7161) and Naboo Swamp(7121) packaged together, on sale for $43.99, which is not bad seeing as the sub was $69.99 (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca.on)

  Re: Major Find

(...) Adam, Your problem was you asked an American Direct Sales Rep about retail channels here in Canada. Of course they will not have correct information. It is hard enough to get correct info from the retailers themselves. But the good news is we (...) (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: Major Find

You found the Chrome castle sets here in Canada? When I called S@H to see if they were going to have them in Canada, I was told they weren't. Bah! Ah well, at least now I know I can find them here. ~Adam (...) (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.castle, lugnet.sports, lugnet.adventurers)
