Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) Hi Ross, I am hoping you and or your fellow Lego enthusiasts can help me out. I work for the Herald Sun and we would like to have a large Lego house grace the cover of our Property magazine. I have contacted Lego Australia but they weren't (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) Just to clarify, the dance classes will only use half the hall (where we normally set up train layout), so the rest is still available unless it's booked by someone else, which it happens to be on the 22nd. So we can continue to use it, I'm (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) The best bet would be to look at your local Neighbourhood house/community house, as these venues are generally cheaper than a hall. Failing that, Craigieburn meetings could be moved to mid-term if there is a possibility of Amaroo in school (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) Well, I guess that we are going to need to find a community group that has a centre like Armaroo. And aren't to strict with the costs too. Having only been in Melbourne for a year I don't really have any idea of a place like this. Leg Godt (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) The only problem with Bayswater is that it is in Zone 3 and may prove pretty expensive for those of us coming in on public transport. (20 years ago, 31-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

Re: New eastern venue for MUGS?

(...) Ross , I will be moving into my own house very soon ! Still in Bayswater. Could we have the meeting there ? I don't know if this may be a long term answer for the Lego General Meetings. I was also hoping to have a M>ltc meeting very soon at my (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

  New eastern venue for MUGS?

Hi all, Some bad news. Unfortunately, the Amaroo Centre now has dance classes permanently booked on Saturdays and Sundays, so we probably won't be able to continue using it for our MUGS meetings. Does anyone know anywhere else in east/southeast (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jul-04, to lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)

  Summary: MUGS 2004-7

Hi all! Just a quick look at what happened yesterday at Craigieburn. Not as big a turn-out as usual, due to the temporary conversion of a MUG to a BUG, and people having more important(!) stuff to do. (2 URLs) Ben's keyrings>> (2 URLs) Sue Ann's (...)   Re: question about vehicle stats/points

(...) I think this is a great idea. It would be very useful helping new players get into the game. My friend is making a Shell Combat Team that is deployed from the little Shell-type dragsters. He was just asking me about this very thing, seeking (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.loc.au.vic.mel)
