Hi All,

Sounds like I missed a good day out at Pete's on the weekend.

Anyway. One of my sons unearthed my old (I mean OLD) Thunderbird 2 die cast
the other day.

Hey, I would like to see the diecast T2, let alone the Lego one.

Last night I built it out of LEGO.

Scale is "microfig car fits in the cargo hold/drop down thingie", and it is
built around an old train template (you know the large plate with the hole to
fit around the old style motor).

Question is: Has anyone else built Thunderbirds vehicles out of Lego, and do
you have pics/lcad drawings?

Pete.C and James were talking T1. I'm not sure how far this got.
I'm sure they'll hop in later and fill you in.

Me thinks that some of the Rock Raiders parts will go well as the boring
implements.

Tonight I will start to rebuild it (T2) based on one or two minifigs fitting
into Thunderbird 4 (Little yellow Submarine doovie), and work my way out.

I'll try to get some digital photo's of the 1st one if anyone is interested.

We are, we are, please do so !

Roll on STUDS 2000.4 (By hook or crook, I'll make that one)

looks like the Mexicans (Victorians),have grabbed the LegOz 2000.4 mid-July,
I'm not sure if we'll be LegOz 2000.5 or Studs x.x, we'll announce soon.
We are looking for a venue as well.

(...) We got as far as James e-mailing me his ldraw pics of the stages. It is an impressive vehicle he has modelled, and minifig scale too!! I was going to give it a hash, but Boxer's troops needed vehicles (just as well, too) so I ran out of time (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)
